The company is making fine savings and offering its employees a positive printing experience thanks to SPIE.
Active in the construction sector for nearly 100 years, Nelissen is a major Belgian player on the international brick market. Following the move to their new showroom in Lanaken and in connection with a vision geared to the digital transformation, Frank Aussems, the IT Manager of Nelissen, embarked on a project to change the printer fleet in 2018. The ICS Division of SPIE Belgium was chosen as the provider for this mission.
To meet the cost reduction and service performance needs, SPIE proposed its customized, all-in FlexiPrint solution. Twelve multi-function HP PageWide (A3 and A4) printers have been installed. The overall solution includes many high-added value functionalities: a proactive monitoring service for maintenance and automatic delivery of consumables, SPIE as the sole and trilingual point of contact and the Secure Print Management solution of PaperCut. The whole is financed in OPEX from our Business Unit Financial Solutions and the actual printing consumption is invoiced quarterly on a cost-per-page basis.
Rapidly adopted at Nelissen, the solution is a positive and simplified experience for the employees. “The FollowMe solution from PaperCut having been installed on all the printers, the 80 users can print from any peripheral. They have to sign in and thus work more attentively with the machines than before,” Frank Aussems says. The IT Manager adds “SPIE provides all the desired functionalities, plus a reduction of costs – a major advantage compared to the previous solution!”
