SPIE Belgium: Claude Pannier Appointed as Administrative, Financial, and IT Director

Anderlecht, March 3, 2025 – SPIE Belgium, the Belgian subsidiary of SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the fields of energy and communication, announces the appointment of Claude Pannier as Administrative, Financial & IT Director, effective today. He will join the Executive Committee of SPIE Belgium.

Claude holds a degree in Business Management & Accountancy from Vives University College in Bruges and has completed several advanced management courses at Antwerp Management School and INSEAD Fontainebleau. After starting his career in the banking sector as a Commercial Account Manager at KBC, Claude Pannier joined the Belgian group DEME in 1997 as a Financial Controller. For eight years, he traveled between the United Kingdom, Asia, and South America to work on various projects for the group specializing in marine infrastructure, land reclamation, and offshore energy. In 2005, he worked for two years at the port company PSA in Antwerp as a Business Controller in the Mergers & Acquisitions department. He then returned to DEME as Senior Financial Area Controller for North and South America, the Caribbean, and Africa. He continued his career with the Group, where he held the position of Group Finance Director from 2019 to 2024 and was also a member of the audit committee.
