FlexiPrint for CPH

SPIE standardises CPH’s printing equipment using its FlexiPrint solution

Brussels, 1 October 2020 – SPIE Belgium, the Belgian subsidiary of SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has been selected by the bank CPH to standardise its printing equipment using its FlexiPrint solution.

CPH currently has around thirty branches spread over three provinces in Wallonia. In 2018, CPH decided to standardise its printing equipment, which is distributed across various sites. CPH’s requirements: Reliable equipment, easy management of consumables, user support, competitive pricing and ensuring its IT team is able to obtain an overview of print volume.

The SPIE Belgium ICS division has excelled itself in rising to this challenge, proposing the use of its FlexiPrint solution. This solution offers many advantages: simplified printing environment, complete flexibility, maximised data security, improved cost control, increased productivity and a reduced environmental footprint.

First, SPIE provided CPH with several HP demo printers to allow CPH users to test them and make a choice. At the end of this test phase, SPIE was able to determine the standard printer model to be installed and the number of multifunction printers to be installed in each branch. The SPIE Belgium teams then deployed their bespoke FlexiPrint solution. Three technicians were responsible for the installation and configuration of the equipment in accordance with the client’s determined preferences (times, working hours and specific features). The SPIE Belgium ICS division will provide proactive monitoring and timely delivery of consumables throughout the term of the contract.

Jacques Risselin, who works in the CPH IT System department, is delighted with the collaboration:

In SPIE, we have found the ideal partner for this assignment. The FlexiPrint service covers everything: SPIE Belgium monitors our printing equipment and performs maintenance. We no longer need to handle or store consumables, which frees up time for IT and logistics. User feedback has also been very positive: quality equipment and interfaces, toners that are easy to change and orders that are made automatically.”
