Federal market for printing solutions

A major success for SPIE Belgium's printing division

SPIE wins the major part of the federal market for printing solutions

Brussels, 24 March 2021 – SPIE Belgium, the Belgian subsidiary of SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has just won 15 of the 21 contracts in the tender launched by FORCMS (FOD/FPS BOSA), the central procurement office for federal services.

This new contract will be supplied by the ICS division of SPIE Belgium, which aims to provide its customers with cutting-edge IT solutions, particularly in the areas of printing and document management. Awarded by FORCMS, the Central Procurement Office for Federal Services , this contract concerns the purchase, rental and/or maintenance of printing equipment ranging from an A4 printer to a high-speed A3 MFP (monochrome or colour and laser or ink technology) and services related to the use of printers (installation, management, maintenance, monitoring). Five developers and integrators responded; SPIE Belgium ICS was awarded 15 of the 21 contracts.

This success represents a major step forward for SPIE Belgium's ICS division - which has already won several contracts in the past - and further confirms its expertise in print management. SPIE Belgium has distinguished itself from its competitors thanks, among other things, to its certifications, response time, pricing and the technical quality, availability and durability of the machines offered.

Geoffroy Philippe, Sales Manager within SPIE Belgium's ICS division, declares: “We are proud to have won the vast majority of components in this tender, which we are sure will lead to many contracts with federal services. This is not only a great success in terms of volume but also duration, given that the contract does not end until the end of 2024. It is quite unusual for an operator to win a tender with so many components. This success is also due to the excellent partnership that we have established over the years with the manufacturer HP”.
