An automation and control technician intervenes for projects in the mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, aeraulic and other such like industries. He is proficient in the control techniques for industrial programmable automatons (IPAs). 

His missions are as follows: 

• Put in place, adjust and check industrial control or building air conditioning equipment 
• Calibrate the measurement and control devices 
• Inspect the control circuits periodically 
• Detect and intervene in case of a breakdown

He always watches out for his own and his colleagues' safety.
